At DialogueTrainer I lead UI design for an AI platform where people practise high-stakes workplace conversations through realistic simulations, and develop its front end in Vue.js and jQuery. From the scenario editor and AI-assisted writing to the results screen, the design-system foundations and the Nuxt marketing site, I design it and build it.

Freelancing since 2014, I design and build websites, web apps and mobile apps for clients - UI/UX in Figma through to production in Vue, Nuxt, React, Next.js, React Native and Flutter - from B2B platforms with a web dashboard and mobile app to marketplaces with seller tools, licensing and payments. I manage each project from first call to launch, and build AI automations that take the repetitive work out of the process, from finding new clients to generating demo sites.

2016 - 2020
I founded, designed and ran a two-sided marketplace with storefronts, search, seller dashboards, digital licensing and checkout. I hired developers for the first version, then learned to build it myself, rebuilding the front end in Vue.js with a friend handling the Django back end, while running the business day to day: recruiting and onboarding sellers, pricing and licensing, Stripe and PayPal payments and customer support. It's the project that turned me into a developer.
Where I learnt to build
That codebase is what taught me to build. HTML and CSS properly first, then JavaScript and Vue on the front end, while learning enough Django and Postgres to work closely with the friend handling the back end. Every product I have shipped since starts from what I picked up here.

I designed and built the product, compared seven vision models, shaped the photo-to-price workflow and prepared the interface for launch in eight languages.
